My Three New Best Friends

I started to earnestly scrape the inside of the canoe this morning. I had previously tried using a regular paint scraper with the blade rounded by file and grinder – the scraper needs to be rounded to accommodate the concave surface inside the hull. I didn’t like the paint scraper at all and decided to find something more to my liking. I asked this question on the bearmountain forums and it was suggested that I try a curved cabinet scraper. Bing! this seemed like a great idea. I had used a $5 scraper extensively on the outside of the hull, so why not use a curved one inside?

So far I’m pretty happy with these scrapers, the multitude of curves is really nice.

It was only a matter of time until you replaced your human friends with inatimate objects. You have so much more in common with them.

Yeah, well all of my “friends” decided to move in order to pursue their own selfish goals and fullfill their needs. With friends like that, a guy needs more scrapers.

You really shouldn’t talk about Holmes like that. He will see right through your veiled references.
