Big Idea:
For many people living in the city, background noise and noise in general is something that people are used to and have experienced since the day they were born. However, noise can have consequences on individuals' quality of life as well as have significant impacts on the local environment. This lesson will look into noise and sound levels and give the students that chance to think about and reflect upon noise pollution. To help with their understanding of noise, mathematical logarithms will be learned and utilized.
